33 Goals Update

At the beginning of the year, Pay and I decided to write down our goals for 2023, one for each year we are old. P made 27, and I 33. We are already half way through March (HOW!?) and so, why not do a little check in and see what I’ve accomplished, working on and need to devote more time to. Here we go! (p.s. this picture is of the pelicans at St. James Park in London! It’s my favorite place there, and I always make a point to visit them each time I get to be there.)

1.) Skateboard in the park without breaking my arm : not even close

2.) Teach Fretty to run w/ me : we’ve been walking a hand full of miles each day to work on staying at my side, step 1!

3.) Train for my 4th Half Marathon, and possssssibly my 1st full! : I’m contemplating signing up for the 1/2 next month, although I’m not ready ha!

4.) Finish reading “The Tools” & “Coming Alive” by Phil Stutz : in process!

5.) Plant morning glories in the spring : waiting for that warm weather to get here, and the frost to pass, hoping it comes soon!

6.) See the Eiffel Tower at night YES! and it took my breath away!!!!!

7.) Run down the streets of London : nearly everyday, and multiple daily walks through all the dreamy parks!

8.) Hang out w/ Payton in PERSON! : we need to work on this haha

9.) Do a handstand : nope

10.) More yoga : ehhhhh nope again

11.) Have intentional & dreaming conversations w/ Jeff more often : YES! and they have been so wonderful & inspiring

12.) Paint the foyer : I may have a change of plans, and working on a new design idea…stay tuned

13.) Create a studio/guest room/workout room that entices us to do all 3 : complete and it’s a true dream come true

14.) Adopt a dog : there’s a St Bernard I’m dreaming about at the local shelter ♥️

15.) Lauch PS merch : sketches and dreaming in the process, hopefully one day soon

16.) Be better with my money : the trip was a little wild on my pocket, but it was well worth it, and I’m back on track

17.) Be more patient & less judgmental : trying hard, yet I’m still a glutton for some juicy tea

18.) Record music : not yet, but pushing myself to write and practice again

19.) Go on a date w/ Jeff once or twice a month : we’ve got a plan! we each are going to plan a date (with the other’s interests in mind, and rotate every month!

20.) Create a name & following for myself in the fashion/style world : new plan in the works, stay tuned

21.) Be with my family more than not : my mamma met me in Scotland, and it was lovely! working on more intentional time, and phones calls

22.) Pay off my credit card : HA!

23.) Spend time improving my mental health & happiness :yes, my recent trip did wonders for my self esteem & confidence

24.) Raise money for Hamayoon and his family as they migrate from Afghanistan to America : it’s been a struggle to increase what we’ve raising so far, but I’m not giving up

25.) Pitch the flower shop for a reality show : you bet your ass I did!

26.) Perfect making 2 impressive dinners : I’d confidently say no ha

27.) Eat more plant based : yes, and it has made me feel so great. I used to be vegan, and I’m trying to incorporate more of that lifestyle back into my own

28.) Write just to write, and then write some music : I haven’t journaled, but I’ve gotten myself back into writing music again, and it’s been awesome. I’m very rusty, but I’m determined to get back into it.

29.) Spend more time learning the guitar : I actually have been working on this, and I’m so happy I have

30.) Get outside everyday : ABSOFUCKINGLUTELY

31.) Kayak more with Daddy : I haven’t been able to get to Carolina yet, but it’s on my major priority list, and this is one of the first things I want us to do!

32.) Take mamma to Scotland to find Jamie Frasiar : we found a location of one of the scenes from Outlander, and took pictures, does that count?

33.) Tell my family & friends & furry ones I love them. yes, every second and chance I get to ♥️

What goals have you written down for yourself? Check in and keep yourself accountable, and remember that it’s never too late to restart, rewrite or make new ones :)
